1. Who can use NucHub

• You must be 16 or older. In the United States you may use NucHub from 13 if a parent or guardian agrees, and they accept these terms for you. In the UK and the EU, accounts are for people 16 and over.
• NucHub is not for children under 13. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 13 we will close it and delete its data.
• One person per account. Keep your password to yourself; you're responsible for what happens on your account.

2. What NucHub does

NucHub turns the course material you add into notes, flashcards, practice questions, study plans and a tutor called Ion. Features marked “Soon” aren't available yet and aren't part of what you pay for.

3. AI is helpful, not infallible

NucHub uses AI models. Every question is checked by a second model and every answer cites its source, but AI can still be wrong, out of date or incomplete. Check anything important against your course material, your lecturer and official sources. NucHub is a study aid: it is not medical, legal, financial, engineering or other professional advice, and must never be used to make decisions about real patients, clients or projects.

4. Academic integrity

• Use NucHub to learn, not to cheat. Follow your institution's rules on AI tools.
• Never use NucHub during a live exam, test, quiz or other assessment unless your institution explicitly allows it, and don't use it to produce work you submit as your own where that isn't allowed.
• Don't upload exam papers or answer keys you aren't allowed to share.

5. Your content

• What you upload and write stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to run NucHub for you — including sending the parts a task needs to the processors listed in the Privacy Policy.
• Only upload material you have the right to use: your own notes, and course material your institution makes available to you for study. Don't upload other people's personal data beyond what normal course material contains.
• Recordings. Only record where your lecturer and institution allow it. Some places, including several US states, need everyone's consent to record. You are responsible for having permission to record.
• Questions written only from public material may be shared with other students on the same exam. Anything made from your own files is visible only to you.

6. Acceptable use

Don't: break the law; upload malware or anything that infringes someone's rights; try to get around limits, the paywall or security; scrape or resell NucHub or its questions; make accounts in bulk or to collect more free trials; overload the service; or use NucHub to harass anyone. We may suspend an account that does, and we'll tell you why unless the law or safety says otherwise.

7. Plans, limits and fair use

• Free stays free. Each plan's allowances are on the pricing page and your billing page; they reset monthly (some daily), in your timezone.
• “Unlimited” practice questions means we never refuse a paying student questions; to keep it fair and affordable, questions are written at a steady pace, and if you use far more AI in a month than studying needs, new work may be done in quieter hours. You're never locked out of what you've made.
• When you reach a limit, the work you already have is safe and the message tells you when it resets.

8. Trials, subscriptions and payment

• Free trial: 3 days of everything, no card. One trial per person and per email inbox. When it ends you move to Free; nothing is charged.
• Monthly and yearly plans renew automatically at the end of each period at the then-current price, charged to your saved payment method, until you cancel. We'll tell you before a price change applies to you.
• Semester passes are a single payment for 4 months and never renew. Top-ups are single payments; their credit lasts 12 months.
• Prices are shown in US dollars, pounds or euros. UK and EU prices include VAT; US prices exclude sales tax, which is added at checkout where it applies. Payments are handled by Stripe.
• Cancelling: any time, in one click from Plan & billing. You keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for, then move to Free with everything you made.
• If a payment fails we'll retry and tell you; your content is never deleted for non-payment.

9. Your right to cancel (UK and EU)

If you're a consumer in the UK or the EU, the law usually gives you 14 days to cancel an online purchase. Because NucHub starts as soon as you pay, at checkout we ask you to agree that your plan starts immediately and to acknowledge that you lose that statutory right once it does. We record that consent. Separately, and on top of the law, our own 14-day refund promise still applies: ask within 14 days of paying and we refund you.

10. Ending your account

You can delete your account in Settings at any time. We may close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, after warning you where we reasonably can; if we close a paid account without cause we refund the unused part.

11. Liability

We provide NucHub with reasonable care and skill. Beyond that, and as far as the law allows, it is provided “as is”: we don't promise particular grades or exam results, or that the service will always be available. Our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to what you paid us in that period (or £100 / $100 / €100 if more). Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights.

12. Changes and contact

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you at least 14 days before, in the app or by email. Questions: support@nuchub.app. These terms are governed by the laws of the United States; if you're a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws where you live and can bring claims in your local courts.
