DRAFT — pending legal review. This page is a working draft that has not been reviewed by a lawyer yet. It describes how NucHub works today, but its wording may change before launch.
LegalAccessibility statement
Everyone should be able to study with NucHub. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA across the app and this website.
What we do
- Every page works with a keyboard, with a visible focus ring and a “skip to content” link.
- Light and dark themes are designed for readable contrast; text size, motion and theme can be changed in Settings › Appearance, and we respect your device's reduced-motion setting.
- Buttons, meters and controls have names that screen readers announce; status messages are announced as they change.
- Pages reflow down to phone width without sideways scrolling.
- Everything Ion and the generator make is text, so it can be read aloud, enlarged or translated by your own tools; lecture recordings become timestamped transcripts.
Known gaps
- Files you upload (slides, scanned PDFs, photos) are shown as their originals and may not be accessible themselves; the text NucHub reads from them is available in the library.
- The concept map and mind maps are visual; their content is also available as lists in the unit pages, but the drawings themselves aren't fully described to screen readers yet.
- Some exam formats that rely on dragging (drag and drop, ordering) need further keyboard and screen-reader testing.
We're working through these and test with automated checks and by hand. We have not yet had an independent audit.
Tell us about a problem
If something doesn't work for you, or you need information in another format, email support@nuchub.app with the page and what happened. We reply within 5 working days and, where we can, offer another way to do the task in the meantime.
If you're in the UK and not happy with our response, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS). In the EU, your national accessibility enforcement body can help.
About this statement
Prepared in October 2026 from our own testing. We'll review it at least once a year and whenever the app changes significantly.
